It is the third most important Wetland Area in all of Catalonia<\/strong>, which is why it is expected that its natural spaces will be part of the Natura 2000 Network<\/a> and the Special Protection Area for Birds (ZEPA)<\/a>. The turquoise and red-orange color make it look very colorful and striking. The male has a bright green head<\/strong>, a white chest and a brown abdomen.
