While we’ve learned that Barcelona has one of the most extensive metro networks in Spain, we would also like you to know that the city’s TMB bus network does not disappoint! The bus is one of the most-used means of public transportation in the big city and the numbers show this: the network is a total of 2,243 kms long, includes 108 lines and transports more than 200 million people every year. Impressive, isn’t it? Here’s an option for you to download a map of the Barcelona bus network in PDF format so you can start to familiarize yourself with this service.

Before you start studying the lines offered by this service and their respective destinations, we want to let you know that there are two types of lines: rapid transit lines, which correspond to the Horizontal, Vertical and Diagonal lines, and regular transit lines marked with numbers.
