Arriving by Train
To get to Barcelona Airport with the Barcelona Rodalies trains, you will have to take the R2 Nord line. This line passes through very important stops in Barcelona, such as Passeig de Gràcia, Sants Station, França Station, etc. This commuter line has a frequency of 30 minutes, so there are many throughout the day!
It should be noted that the Aeroport stop on this commuter train line will drop you off at Terminal 2 – which is the oldest terminal -. However, there is no way to get lost if you have to go to Terminal 1: you will find a very well-signposted walkway.
Arriving by Metro
A new metro connection between the airport and the city of Barcelona has recently been opened, making getting around much easier! It also has two different stops within the airport, one in Terminal 1 and one in Terminal 2.

Arriving by Bus
On the one hand, you can choose to take the Barcelona Aerobús, a bus that takes you to the Prat Airport from Plaça Catalunya, passing through Plaça Universitat and Plaça Espanya. It is a very simple option! It is important, however, that you select the bus ticket on its own website to reserve your seat.
On the other hand, you can also go to the airport with bus line 46, which is part of the Barcelona Metropolitan Transport Network. This line starts at Plaça Espanya, but has more stops than the Aerobús that we mentioned previously: it has stops at Gran Via, Plaça Europa and the Bellvitge Hospital, among others.
