Stone benches
The esplanade of the stone benches is a completely adapted space where you will find, as its name suggests, benches anchored to the ground and made of stone so that people can get comfortable while enjoying the great spectacle of watching planes fly over at a height of about 30 meters. We can assure you that this plane viewpoint is amazing! We are very lucky that there is a spot like this next to the Alberg Center Esplai.
In addition to the stone benches, you will also find an information sign with all types of aircraft (Airbus, Boeing, etc.) that can fly over you. So, it is a key and perfect place for all those people who want to take pictures on these great types of transportation. However, not only you will find photographers in this enclave, but you will also see people taking advantage of this great space for sports, cycling, walking, resting, etc. There is a great atmosphere!
How to get there

This is the easiest way to get to the plane viewpoint of El Prat de Llobregat. Once you reach El Prat de Llobregat either by the C-32 motorway or the C-31 motorway, you will have to follow the signs that lead you to the beach which will later become signs that take you to the “Natural spaces of the Delta”. Following this path, you will see a sandy clearing where you can park and then walk for about 250 meters and reach the viewpoint of the stone benches.

- Train
The best option when going by train is to take the R2 Sud suburban line. This can be taken from the city of Barcelona and the other cities to the west of El Prat de Llobregat. The stop where you should get off is “El Prat de Llobregat”. Once in this station you can walk to the viewpoint on Carrer de la Carretera de la Bunyola for 40 minutes or take the PR3 bus that leaves you at the Funeral Home, from where you will be about 400 meters from the viewpoint.
- Subway
In case you come from any area of the city of Hospitalet de Llobregat, you have the possibility to use the new L9Sud metro line that will take you to Parc Nou of El Prat de Llobregat. From here you will have to walk for about 30 minutes until you reach the plane viewpoint of El Prat de Llobregat.
- Bus
If you prefer to come by bus from Barcelona, you can take line 65 or 165 of the TMB bus network in Barcelona. In this case you will have to get off at the Remolar stop, where you can walk and reach your destination in less than 30 minutes.
