Viewpoints are elevated strategic points from which we can contemplate a landscape or a city. Have you ever been to one? The views they offer us tend to be very panoramic or even 360º, they are impressive! And what better than trying to go to viewpoints in a city like Barcelona when the sun goes down? From this type of vantage point we will be able to see mountains, sea or city buildings and monuments that will take your breath away!

From Fundesplai we have always been fascinated to discover a city or a landscape from other points of view, and even more so if it is with a spectacular sunset. In this way we have a totally different perspective than what we usually have living in these cities or walking along the mountain trails! Are you ready to know which are the 6 best viewpoints to see the sunset in Barcelona?

Come on!

1. Gardens of the National Art Museum of Catalonia

The National Art Museum of Catalonia is located on Montjuïc mountain and getting there is very, very easy: from Plaça d’Espanya you will have to walk along Avinguda Reina Maria Cristina until you find the stairs to go up to the MNAC. As you go up you can see the famous Magic Fountain of Montjuïc and the Palau Victòria Eugènia, until you reach the museum. From here you will have impressive views of the entire city of Barcelona. It’s a great time to sit back, relax and appreciate this great landscape with a beautiful sunset!

Impressive! true? But the most mind-blowing part doesn’t end there: these bunkers are remnants of what was an anti-aircraft battery during the Spanish Civil War. So it’s time to breathe in history as we watch the sunset from one of the city’s most wonderful vantage points.
